Amtivo (USA), Inc.
Arvada, Colorado certification body, formerly Orion Registrar, whose published ANAB scope lists ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 27001.
Amtivo (USA), Inc. is the legal name on the ANAB scope Amtivo publishes (accreditation ID MS-3993, issue date 21 November 2025), linked from its U.S. accreditations page. The address is 7502 West 80th Avenue, Suite 225, Arvada, Colorado. Accreditation dates from 20 July 2001 and expires 20 September 2027. It is based on ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 option A as of 24 February 2017. An earlier PDF on the U.S. site, issue date 25 March 2025, heads the same ID as Amtivo (USA), Inc. dba Orion. The November heading does not.
Amtivo's posts say Orion Registrar, Inc., in operation since 5 October 1994, agreed to sell to Amtivo Group as of 27 October 2022, and rebranded as Amtivo in September 2024. The 2022 post names British Assessment Bureau as a UK brand of the group. Other former names on the U.S. pages are not on the November header.
UKAS find-an-organisation lists British Assessment Bureau Limited trading as Amtivo (8289, West Malling), not Amtivo (USA), Inc. A search for Orion Registrar returned no organisation.
Who should shortlist Amtivo (USA)
This is a U.S. management-system registrar. The November scope lists ISO 9001:2015 as of 23 December 2015 and does not name ISO 9001:2026. It lists ISO 14001:2015 as of 23 December 2015, ISO 45001:2018 as of 3 December 2018, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 as of 14 June 2021, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 as of 18 August 2023. ISO/IEC 42001 is absent, and ISO/IEC 27001 has no sector table.
The sector tables differ. Quality (ANAB Accreditation Rule 20) lists basic and fabricated metals as one line and omits water supply. Environmental lines (Rule 21) include water supply, split the metals lines, and omit nuclear fuel. Occupational health and safety (Rule 30) also splits the metals lines, includes water supply, and omits mining and quarrying and nuclear fuel. All three limit paper to paper products and pulp and paper manufacturing. Confirm the IAF code for each site. For all three on one programme, read integrated ISO management systems.
Aerospace is separate: accreditation in accordance with AS9104/1:2012 as of 2 January 2013, AS9100:2016 as of 7 June 2017, AS9110:2016 as of 14 August 2017, and AS9120:2016 as of 7 June 2017. IAF code 21 is not that scheme. See ISO 9001 vs AS9100. This profile did not open IAQG OASIS.
ISO 13485 initial accreditation is 15 September 2016, and ISO 13485:2016 is dated 16 March 2017, under ANAB Accreditation Rule 35. Headings are non-active devices, including non-active implants, active non-implantable devices, in vitro diagnostics, moist-heat sterilization, and parts or services. Active implantable devices are not a heading. See ISO 9001 vs ISO 13485.
The U.S. FAQ lists IATF 16949. Neither issue reviewed here does.
The November issue also lists RC14001:2023 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, both as of 7 August 2025, plus R2v3, RIOS:2016, and e-Stewards version 4.1. The March issue does not list RC14001 or ISO/IEC 20000-1. ANAB's RCMS page names Amtivo (USA), Inc. as an approved audit service provider, dated 5 August 2025. That approval is not the RC14001 line.
Offices under ANAB Accreditation Rule 6 include Toronto, Shanghai, Mexicali, Cd. Juarez, Metepec, Kaohsiung, Taipei, and Wyoming, Michigan (printed Michgan, at 5281 Clyde Park Ave). Toronto, Cd. Juarez, and Metepec are marked critical. Corona, California (525 Queensland Circle on the contact page) is not on this list.
What to verify in a quote
- The legal entity is Amtivo (USA), Inc., not British Assessment Bureau Limited, and not a former brand absent from the header.
- The IAF code on the ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 table for each site. A quality code is not the same line.
- Which of AS9100, AS9110, or AS9120 applies. This profile did not open OASIS.
- The ISO 13485 technical area. Sterilization on this issue is moist heat.
- Which office will audit, and whether Corona is an accredited location.
- Transfer terms if a certificate already exists. That move is a certificate transfer. Name the accepting legal entity.
When the scope on the page is the scope you can staff, send one pack through Get quotes. Re-check the live schedules before Stage 1, not only when you first open the directory.
