Insight Assurance
Tampa certification body, operating virtually, whose published IAS scope lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 42001:2023.
Insight Assurance is the name on IAS scope MSCB-306, effective 9 October 2026. The address on that scope and on the contact page is 400 North Tampa Street, 15th Floor, Suite 129, Tampa, Florida 33602. The certificate says the body operates virtually from that address. Accreditation dates from 22 November 2022. The IAS certificate page lists status Accredited and expiry 1 December 2026. The scope cites ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and IAS criteria AC477. The terms contract as Insight Assurance LLC. The IAS heading does not print LLC.
Who should shortlist Insight Assurance
This is a U.S. registrar for information security, privacy, and AI management. The ISO/IEC 27001 page says the firm works with cloud service providers, healthcare companies, financial institutions, and SaaS vendors. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 are not on this scope.
The October 2026 scope lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022, with additional level 4 standard ISO/IEC 27006-1:2024. Certification sectors are N/A. It does not print ISO/IEC 27001:2013 as a current standard. IAF CertSearch lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 as active under IAS and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 as withdrawn. The terms still name ISO/IEC 27001:2013, with a catch-all for later standards. Which certificate this cycle is for is ISO 27001 vs ISO 42001.
The same scope lists ISO/IEC 27701:2019 and ISO/IEC 27701:2025, with additional level 4 standard ISO/IEC 27706:2025. The 2019 line is footnoted that all certified customers must be transitioned by 31 October 2028. The 2025 line is footnoted that initial and recertification audits are only to the new version as of 31 October 2027. This directory does not tag ISO/IEC 27701. The edition question is ISO 27001 vs ISO 27701.
ISO/IEC 42001:2023 is a separate discipline, with additional level 4 standard ISO/IEC 42006:2025. The scope does not print developer, producer, provider, or user roles, and certification sectors are N/A. An IAF CertSearch row labeled All Sectors, with no sector code, is not a sector table. Profiles that state 42001 on a published scope are compared in how to choose an ISO/IEC 42001 certification body in the US.
Public pages also name ISO/IEC 9001, ISO/IEC 22301, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO/IEC 27017, ISO/IEC 27018, ISO/IEC 27035, ISO/IEC 27036, and an MPAA assessment. MSCB-306 does not list them. An about note on the IAS accreditation post calls the firm a licensed CPA firm and lists SOC examinations, PCI DSS, HIPAA, penetration testing, and financial audits. Those are not on this scope. Confirm any CPA signer with the state board of accountancy, and with NASBA CPAverify where that board participates. See ISO 27001 vs SOC 2. Ask whether people who test or advise are barred from the certification decision.
Key-location and subcontractor rows are N/A. The site says it serves clients in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. IAF CertSearch lists one head office, in Tampa, and one country, the United States. Do not confuse this firm with Insight Certification Limited, a different UKAS product-certification body in Maidenhead. This profile did not match a UKAS or ANAB management-system schedule to Insight Assurance.
What to verify in a quote
- The contracting name: Insight Assurance on the IAS certificate, Insight Assurance LLC in the terms.
- The edition. ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 42001:2023 are on this scope. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 are not. The IAS listing shows expiry 1 December 2026.
- For ISO/IEC 27701, the edition and the two dates on the scope. This directory does not tag either edition.
- For ISO/IEC 42001, which roles the audit will cover. The scope does not print them.
- If a SOC report is also in the request, the CPA firm that will sign. MSCB-306 is not that check.
- That the location is the virtual Tampa office, and that Insight Certification Limited is not the signer.
When the scope on the page is the scope you can staff, send one pack through Get quotes. Re-check the live schedules before Stage 1, not only when you first open the directory. The method is how to verify accreditation.
Verify the scope on the IAS certificate for MSCB-306 (effective date 9 October 2026) and the IAS listing (expires 1 December 2026), and on Insight Assurance. Then re-check ANAB's directory, UKAS, and IAF CertSearch.
