Perry Johnson Registrars
U.S.-based management-system registrar frequently used by mid-market manufacturers.
Perry Johnson Registrars (PJR) is a U.S. registrar that many mid-market manufacturers already know by name. It is the kind of CB that shows up when a quality manager asks peers “who did your 9001?” rather than when a global procurement team issues a multi-country TIC tender.
Why mid-market teams consider PJR
PJR is often compared against the largest European TIC brands when the buyer wants North American scheduling, a more approachable account team, or a registrar that spends most of its time in manufacturing quality systems. Public PJR materials cover ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO/IEC 27001 among other schemes.
That peer familiarity is not accreditation. Treat PJR like any other CB: verify the ANAB (or other) scope, ask for auditor competence in your processes, and get a written day calculation.
Watch-outs
- If your largest customer requires a specific global brand, confirm acceptance before you switch.
- If ISO/IEC 42001 is on the 24-month roadmap, ask whether PJR will have accredited AIMS scope in time — or plan a second CB for AI management.
- Related PJR-family names exist for other assurance lines; contract the management-system entity you intend.
